About Us:

The Andalusian Horse Association of Australasia (AHAA) was established in 1973. This not-for-profit association holds the Stud Books in Australasia for the Purebred Spanish Horse, the Australian Andalusian, the Hispano-Arabe, the Partbred Andalusian, the Andalusian Derivative and  the Stud Book for the Purebred Iberian Horse (Pure Spanish x Pure Lusitano).

The Association publishes a regular magazine about Andalusians in Australasia and also runs shows and seminars promoting this unique and ancient breed.

State Branches of the Association are responsible for upholding and enacting the values laid forth by the Federal organisation at a State level. Dedicated volunteer committees are responsible for promoting the Andalusian breed in each state and aim to do so by holding and sponsoring events for our members, sharing their successes and more.
